With the economy the way it is today and people just not sure on what is going to happen next, I was wondering if there are things that any of y'all are doing to cut back on expenses in your everyday lives?

I have been giving up bottled water these days. One of my relatives gave me a Brita pitcher so I have been using that lately. We also don't order pizza as much as we used to. I have been buying the frozen ones. My hubby seems pretty happy with those. We also cut back on going to my daughter's favorite clothes stores. We hit Plato's Closet the other day. Have a great day. Hugs
I don't know that I've really given up anything, but I do try to do several things in one car trip to cut down the number of times I have to drive. Example, this morning I had to drop Kim off to do her PSAT at 8:00 AM and Mac had an Orthodontic appt at 9:00 AM.. rather than making two trips...I made Mac get up early and we dropped off Kim then sat at the Dental office until our appt.
I SHOULD say my $6.00 a day starbucks habit huh? BUT I TAINT!

We're doing a lot more walking lately & saving our errands for one big round trip.
Getting things done in one round trip and eating out a lot less. We just put new windows in and a pellet stove to save on long term heating bills. (Hugs)Indigo
Just trying to be more conscious of where I'm spending money. Not as many trips out and about. I've always loved thrift stores, so I still shop there. I tried the coupon thing, but there are so many stipulations to save 5 cents...won't do that, yet!
